Agile and enthusiastic, Betty Ruck, Jo Pizzella, Mary Lou Colombo, Maureen Rob- bins, Sherry Harlow, Bobby Stemmler, and Captain Carol Balossi, have played an im- portant part in snagging all those trophies, spearheading the cagers, track men and slug- gers through their seasons. In fact, they helped greatly in putting the Southwest Snafu on the other high schools. Our top Wranglers, sometimes called the Letter- man's Club, put their lariats around seven senior girls to be candidates for queen. Those lassoed were: Jean Bradley, Jean Hof, Linda Overmyer, Marilyn Pate, Dorothy Steinman. Shirley Wisdom, and Frances Zingsheim.
