As we the senior class hear the alma mater for the last time we will look back at the many memo ries our class has shared during the past five years. Friendships have been made and events have happened that we can never forget. In the following pages of our Resume', we have gathered together some of the things that have played an important part in our senior year. While we are putting away the carefree life of a senior and taking on new responsibilities, these will truly be DAYS WE REMEMBER. WE REMEMBER ECDIQEWCDIQD

DZCIICGUOVW As head of the math department at Southwest, the teacher we have chosen for our dedication not only has taught us math, but has also enriched our lives with sympathetic understanding and friendship. He was bom in Palmetto, Georgia, where he spent much of his youth. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Berry College, his Master of Education at Emory and his Master in Mathematics at Peabody Col- lege. In his twelve years of teaching, he has spent live years at Southwest, where he has endeared himself to all of us. His participation in all of our school activities has made each student love and respect him, not only as a teacher, but also as a personal friend. Because you were always ready to help us with our problems, never too busy to smile hello or stop and chat, because of your unfailing loyalty and wonderful sense of humor, it is with deep gratitude and lasting love that we, the Senior Class, dedicate the 1957 Resume' to you, MR. JAMES P. BROWN.
