The Language Department instructs students in actual grammar usage, and places continual emphasis on the develop- ment of a more tolerant attitude towards people of other lands and their language. Most of the modern types of equipment and machines found in business establishments are available to students for training purposes. The courses offered are typing, general business, bookkeep- ing, business arithmetic, shorthand, and ollice practice. The Commercial Department prepares students to hold good jobs in business after graduation.
