Student Council Center of school organization—the Student Council. Representing the entire student body, the Council sets the pace for activities of the school. Besides promoting better relationships among students and teachers, it sponsors many projects and social events through various committees. : Assembly programs, devotionals, operation of the school store, and provision for lunchtime recreation are a few of the necessary functions that often go unnoticed. Freshman orientation, Home - coming events, the Christmas dance, post-ballgame dances, the Southwest Follies--all these activities are made possible by the Council's hard work and do their part to make the year enjoyable for everyone.
