Aldridge, Jr., President of the Board, Mr. Floyd Jackel, Mr. Henry Krueger, Jr., Mr. Edwin W. Ripps, and Mr. Nick Constanzo. Expansion and progress definitely set the tone for the 1968-1969 school year. Acting as the impetus, the Board of Trustees has exemplified unyielding dedication to the responsibilities of maintaining a modern school system. The construction and establishment of a new Junior High School gives evidence to the rapid growth and modernization of Southwest Independent School District. Each member is elected by the citizens of this area.. They assume a wide scope of problems pertaining to home and school relationship, accelerated study schedules, and selection of construction projects and their locations. The Board also directs the various schools in the Southwest District concerning school policy. Through long-range planning and concerted devo- tion to Southwest, the Board of Trustees has made great strides in innovations on the campus and the policies which govem the student body.

Norris has effectively applied his experience and workable knowledge for the betterment of students and faculty alike. He has rendered contributions and services beyond his official capacity. Working in close relationship with personnel of the school district and meeting the various needs which arise in curriculum and educational programs, Mr. Norris has illustrated his dependability, efficiency and ability to succeed.
