A word of advice, a thoughtful decision, a question answered with care -- Col. Ha1l's influence is felt in all parts of our school life. His obligations are carried out with our welfare in mind, and it is with much deliberation on his part that new rules and regulations are made. In our contacts with Col. Hall we become more and more confident that his administrative skill will maintain and increase Southwest's position in this district. 12 TEACHER. . . . EDUCATOR ..... SPORTSMAN. . . . LEADER .... MR. CLIFFORD A, MUELLER, having served Southwest for many years as coach and science instructor and three years as Principal, received his B. S. from Texas A. gc M. and his M. Ed. degree from Trinity University. With an eye to the future, Mr. Mueller has brought Southwest through three years when the public eye was suddenly on education. In the rush to stress the importance of mathematics and science, he never overlooked the equal impor- tance of the electives, lending his constant support to the subjects which give us a wider point of view. His every decision is made with care as he unceasingly a true educator, Mr. Mueller has 'i his life to his job. He all school activities, including sports events. tries to make our years at Southwest both happy and worthwhile. 11
