ACADEMICS . . . What constitutes a learning situation? What is a school? Southwest is fortunate enough to have lab- oratory equipment, social clubs, service organizations, athletic events, and a soaring school spirit. But remove each of these attractions and we would yet have a school -- be- cause we have those who teach and those who learn. The main objective of the teachers is still to give an educa- tion. The cardinal purpose of the students is to absorb this edu- cation. This constitutes a learning situation. This is a school. It truly is a land . . . ...IN SEARCH OF IDEAS
