.raw 8:10 . . . Another day another student resting his books and himself on me. I'm not complain- ing about my job, just particular. Take, for in- stance, the size of a student. I would prefer my occupants to be 5'2 , eyes of blue, long- legged, and perfumed. But somehow I always manage to attract the 250 lb. linebacker or the president of the Beta Club and his own private library that he carries everywhere he goes. When- ever you're bored, just scratch out a little note to your friends or practice your artistic talents and sketch a little picture on my face. Be careful, you may end up giving me a bath!! 23, 34, I-Iut, hut, scramble, scratch, block, tackle Always ending up at the bottom of the pile, but always the center of attention. The quarterback and I have a very personal relation- ship, an affair called football. Our arrangement is such that we meet every Friday and Saturday night and have at least two hours together. Some- day we hope to become the proud parents of a victory!! This is a rather hard task because I am tossed, passed off, and bounced all around the field. Somehow the quarterback and I always get it together, because when I cross that goal line or sail through those goal posts, I hear the fans cheering us on! H1555 Boy, I feel better since Rodney I-Iot Rod just shined the 'ole Mean Machine up with me out on front. When my blue letters are gleaming and wheels screaming I'm the baddest thing to hit the parking lot. Of course you have to get used to all those other license plates taking a gaze . When you're a celebrity you have to learn to live with being so well known and envied. I But let's face it. S.W.D. stands for the best, of all the rest! 1 I ,4 I Q W 36-2.4-36, yep, that's me! Not my figure, but my combination. Funny this guy should forget my combination, but he did and now I have to take the blame for his stupidity. If I had a leg, maybe I'd kick him back, but since I don't, maybe I'll push all the books out when he jams my arm up to open me. Or maybe I just won't open at all! Left, right, left, right, hey watch out up there! You almost set me right down in that piece of gum. You'd be surprised at the things you could run across down here, face to face with concrete. Even more interesting than what I see are the places I go and the different jobs I do. If I were a tennis shoe, than you'd find me doing my thing on the basketball court beneath the feet of Tyrome Shoelaces.
