il What happens when a person volunteers to help decorate for a junior Senior at SWD7 He gets blisters on his hands from tearing tape to stick on the bleachers under the flagstone wallpaper He gets a basement full of yakkmg helpers and decorations piled sky high in his car His arms fall asleep after holding streamers up in the gym to make the ceiling Wht happens when a person volunteers to help decorate SWD's junior-Senior Dance? He gets to take part in creating the most successful and important dance this school puts on and in knowing that because of all the time and effort he put into decorating, he has helped to make it the best social event of the entire earl lt's all worth it in the endll

The junior class, W sponsored by Ms. lNild, hegan pre- - paring for the dance during mid- .' second quarter. At class meetings they decided on decorations, costs, prep- arations at individual houses, and the theme. The theme was ln the Still of the Night and decorations were uentered around a Roman and Greek idea.
