Student A new constitution was the prelude to a year of exciting events and projects tackled by the Student Association. Three branches of this organization, the Student Senate, the Student Activities Council, and the Spiritual Life Council coordinated each program to make it one of significant importance. The Student Senate, as compared to the United States Senate, is in charge of all legislative policies, and expresses student policy. There was probably never a time when so much official effort was being expended to produce happiness .,. And thus, is the duty of the Student Activities Council as they planned and prepared for Homecoming, the Mozarkian Pageant, the Mr. and Miss Southwest Pageant, High School Days, and the Student Association Movies. Within the council of Spiritual Life, lies the task of studying, advising and coordinating the programs related to spiritual life. Therefore, the councils work all for one CS. A.-everyonej and one for all-SWBC. Association ,., ,S ,ga .534-P4495 4, Barb Taylor, Rita Hogg, and Sue Stout, members of the Student Association Publicity committee, prepare to announce one ot the many activities sponsored by the organization. The services of the Student Association encompass a wide range of activities including everything from providnng entertainment to opportunities for choosing student leaders.
