Humanities The most spectacular evidence of growth this year came in the humanities division with the ad- dition of nine new instructors and the return of one instructor from a leave of absence. Mrs. Polk returned to the art department from one year study at Pennsylvania State University. The forensics program was expanded this year with the forma- tion of a Pi Kappa Delta chapter, the National forensics fraternity. A Readers Theatre was pre- sented for the first time and proved quite success- ful. The musical, CarmwL was also a first produc- tion for the department. l 1 E Mr. Brown of the English department is seen reflecting a scholarly mood.
