Humanities Feature S WE Tour Astir with change, the Department of Music saw the Symphonic Wind Ensemble wearing red blazers and the Touring Choir bedecked with brown robes. The Symphonic Wind En- semble, touring for three days in March, pre- sented church-sponsored concerts. Away on leave of absence, Dr. Don Cowan was featured as soloist in the Norman Luboff Choir. The English curriculum, slightly modified, en- abled students who had failed the junior pro- ficiency exam to enroll in remedial English. Students in Mrs. Polk's applied art classes exhibited their art forms during exam week of the second semester. Although stated ironically, this re- mark did not conceal the math faculty's pride in their new offices. New office space was not the only mark of expansion in this department. 4'Topics in Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Secondary School Mathematics rep- resented changes in the curriculum. New instructors, Mr. John Bryant and Mr. B. O.
