More than just homework and football games fill the afternoons, evenings, and weekends of students. From flipping ham urgers to selling expensive jewelry, Southsiders participate in a wide array of occupations. The main incentive to work is, of course, money. Students use the money to make car pay- ments, to save for college expenses, to help sup- port their family, andjust to sipend on themselves. However for some stu ents work is more than just work.
