i Christmas cheer and spirit were spread throughout the yuletide season this year as Junior Optimists worked busily selling Christmas trees December 6-24. Colorful Rebel banners were also Christmas cheer ond spirit seen as the club members promoted the sale of pennants. In addition to sale of pennants delicious food and good entertainment were part ofa luncheon for the Junior Optimist sponsored by the Senior Optimists at the Ward Hotel downtown. The club also sponsored the annual Rebel Awards in lVlay where outstanding students and clubs received awards. 32 people were in the club this year while Robert Cates was president.
