MR. MILLER ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL We have known Charles Miller for two short years, but in those years we have profited much from this acquaintanship and from the examples he has set for us. If we follow these line examples, we shall surely be successful and a credit to society. Mr. Miller's primary duty is to relieve Mr. Greene of his disciplinary duties. These duties are enacted firmly but wisely. His methods may sometimes seem harsh, but he works for our welfare. We, the class of 1958, would like to thank you, Mr. Miller, for the understanding you have shown us. ENGLISH - Seated: Mary S. Jenkins, Mabel I. OUR PRINCIPAL ARNOLD D. GREENE Southside High School has indeed been fortunate in having Mr. Greene as its prin- cipal. His willingness to listen, his ability to think clearly, and his fairness in de- cisions have won him the respect of students and faculty. In spite of his many duties and responsibilities, Mr. Greene has always taken a personal interest in us as individuals. Also, through his interest in all school activities and the fine ex- amples he has set, Mr. Greene has inspired the students to take greater pride in their school. The Senior Class of 1958 would like to express its gratitude to Mr. Greene for the guidance and assistance he has given our class.
