German Club Organized in June, l954, DER DEUTSCHE VEREIN is composed ot seventeen members. All students in the second year class are eligible tor mem- bership and tirst year pupils having at least a B average may ioin. The Club's purpose is to cultivate interest in the German language and customs. Led by president Hurley Robbins and other ot- ticers, vice president, Rex Good: sec- retary, Marsha Elliot: treasurer, Leon Mosher: and historian, Gail Barrett, the club has enjoyed several interesting meetings and social events. Advisor to the club is Miss Winitred Prechtl. M. Flood, R. Newhall. D. Stevens, Mr. Finlay Traffic Squad Much credit goes to Southside's TRAFFlC SQUAD. We could not do with out these young officers whose duty it is to prevent accidents and di- rect interclass trattic. As the bell rings each period, these boys may be seen hustling to their posts.
