CLASS HISTORY We lsttle saplsngs were so awed wsth the event of entersng sensor hsgh school that we never gave any thought as to what we should do dursng our Freshman Year Rather than msss any events that were happensng to our bsg brothers we constantly kept our eyes glued on all of the hustle and bustle Conse quently we forgot about ourselves Well anyway there ss next year we all sasd Next year came and we were just getting used to the queer ways of our elders We began to wonder sf we could be organized maybe we could cut a lsttle off our class time by long meetsngs Besng all excsted that day of our fsrst meetsng, everybody was there on tsme' But we got only as far as electsng our pressdent Jack Msller l guess we were scared Was that st7 Anyway, we went back to gazsng at those accomplsshed sensors Our Junsor Year' Could st be we were really someone7 We were' And we gave them a Junsor Prom to remember, too Remember Jean Hymes and Ned Hoffman,ourvery effscsent co chasrmen of that colossal af'Fasr7 And don t forget the theme the New York World s Farr We were really started and howl But how could thss year have been such a success wsthout our leader, Bob Walker, and our capable advssers, Mrs Bogart and Mr Krouse7 That longed for day had at last arrsved We were Sensors Wastsng no tsme sn gettsng started we elected Duck Lacey to gusde us through the year Havsng done such a swell sob last year, Mrs Bogart and Mr Krouse were chosen to advsse us agasn thss year Lets get started was the call to work and work we dsd The Harvest Moon Ball our Sensor Prom was the fsrst undertaking It was a grand success, Nor dsd our actsvstses end there A month later havsng hardly tsme enough to cool down from that we undertook the Sensor Play Lslses of the Fseld The house wsll always echo with the love scene between Dot Wheeler and Don Adasr And now the csrcus of the year our Sensor Carnsval Joyce Kung and Hugh Good were Msstress and Master co chasrmen ofthe Bsg Tent Don t forget that hang over from last year our own hula hula dancer Hsppo Hslfsger He surely can wsggle hrs way out of anythsng, can t he7 We all had a good tsme that nsght under the rule of our Carnsval Ksng and Queen, Wsllsam Lazenby and Paulsne Janowsks Who can forget Ssr Felix Korsm, who thrslled a packed house with hss magsc wonders7 Betty Nagle and Nate Schoonover were co chairmen for that event Our last presentatson of the year but surely not the least under the dsrectson of Pauline Janowsks and Bob Spady was Southssde s own Kay Kyser Show Well, Sensor Day ss here at last and we look forward to our annual pscnsc thss afternoon Of course wsth Jean Mayhood and Eldon Kasper sn the leadsng roles, st can t help but be a success And sn another week Msrsam Graybsll and Tommy Abbott wrll head the Sensor Banquet Commencement Day too, ss near at hand, and we look to st as a fsttsng conclusson to four of the happsest years of our lsves 30 . .
