Track was begun with the hope that some points might be salvaged from the annual Prep meet and thus bring to South Side the coveted award for the first time. 4' .7,en,ni5 South Side netmen had one of their best seasons as they captured two Prep Loop matches while dropping one. ln the Hrst. they overpowered the Pioneers from East St. Louis 3-2.
