Revere is chiefly remembered for his famous ride on the night of April 18, 1775, to warn Lexington that the British were com- ing. During the summer of 1776, Dan- iel Boone fEJ was busy searching the woods round Boonesboro, Ken- tucky, for one of his daughters who had been kidnapped by the Indians. She was later found.
