This was a familiar sound when a typing student became frustrated at the machine. Mr. Steven Baker was added to the business staff teaching general business and typing. IBM Selective typewriters, typing desks and an electronic printing cal- culator were new machines this year. Mr. Steve Cline, department head, explained, A lot of material learned in business has carry-over value in later life such as learning to reconcile bank statements with the checkbook bal- ance. Junior Mary Henderson practices rapid and accurate typing skills.
