Pottery, macrame, sketching and water color were some of the many possibilities at which one could try his hand. Expression in plastics, paper con- struction and plaster were also a de- light to many eyes. Southport was also pleased to wel- come Mr. Randall Gunyon and Mr. Gregg Butler to the art department. The art gallery hosted both pro- fessional and amateur exhibitions, changing displays periodically. In a Crafts I class, Barb Riney is carefully sanding her wood sculpture ofa snail.
