As Mr. George, Perry Township Trustee, looks over the plans for the finished gym, we ask the question, will we be the first Senior class to be graduated from the new building? The new gym, when completed, will ac- commodate 8,5OO and will have facilities for swimming, basketball, track, and classrooms for shop and music. Between ll:l5 and l2:45, the busiest place at Southport is the cafeteria. Covering the first floor of the new wing, the new cafeteria and kitchen provide us not only with good food, but also a pleasant, cheery, atmosphere. Two lines and a staggered lunch schedule permit almost l,OOO students and our faculty to be served efficiently and quickly. Anewevzofliifin Appearing in the picture to the left are Mr. C. C. Leedy and Mr, Francis Schuster at the dedication of the new gymnasium, which is to become a part of Southport High School in the very near future.
