This course in- cludes the study ol leaves and in- sects, and dissecting of worms, frogs, and grasshoppers. The teachers of this course are Miss Blanche Penrod and Mr. Chauncey McDaniel, The Sophomore party was held in the gym on March seventh this year. Mrs. Guyer, our sponsor, se- lected the following committee chairmen: Invitation, Melinda Polfenbargerg Decorations, Nancy Brier, Entertainment, C l a u d i a Kidd, Refreshments, Pat Wall, and Cleansup, Dan VVoerner. The class chose Summer In Bermuda as lhe theme.

an M7'lZ.01 .f One of the highlights in the life of every junior and senior is the night of the Junior- Senior Prom. For the past three years this gala event has taken place at the Indiana University Medical Center with Ralph Lillard and his orchestra furnishing the music. KDRUMBEATSM Erie shadows, floating hands, and shrill screams created the weird atmosphere for the three act Junior Play, Drumbeats by Howard Reed. A half-ruined mansion on a desolate stretch of swamps houses the mysterious comedy when a rich old man suddenly disappears and a mon- ster, an apparition, and a black hand start the family and a strange doctor in search of a magic stone. .
