JOHN W. GEORGE Trustee We are fortunate in having as the leader of education in Perry Town- ship a man of such great personal worth and high educational qualifications. Mr. George has used his qualities for our benefit. C. CALVIN LEEDY Principal Through the eiiicient efforts of our principal, the daily routine of our school has maintained a smooth course despite the disrupting infiuences of war and the necessary changes needed to adopt it to a wartime schedule. WALTER G. KELLAM Vice-Principal Mr. Kellam's interest in school activities has been expressed through his leadership of the Booster Club, his personal guid- ance of students in their freshman year, and his many contacts with the upper classmen. Every student in the school has at some time come into contact with him and has learned to admire him. BLANCHE E. PENROD Girls' Advisor All girls are fortunate because they are Miss Penrodis hobby as well as her care. Her work for younger girls is in the form of conferences and guidance. Her friend- ship with older girls brought about the Sen- ior-ority with its many ac- tivities for Juniors and Seniors. C. ELLIS ROBINS Senior Sponsor The Senior year at Southport High School is flavored by association of the students with an ad- visor who is loved and respected by young peo- ple. His smil-e and pat- ience and helpfulness are never eclipsed by lack of interest and understand- ing.
