'VC-A Junior Prom The evening of June 1. 1956, approached slovyly it seemed and then time began to fly by as the last minute came clos r The yaii ous committees completed their work and the Southold H Uh School auditorium was transformed into a heavenly space fimidst the stars in accordance with the theme. Stairvyay to tle Stars chosen months before by the class. The beautiful yyhite and gold stairway. rock garden. sparkly stars. and decoratrye tables com bined to carry out the motif exquisitely. The highlight of the 1956 prom was the coronation of J. queen. chosen by Jack Sheryyoods Orchestra.
