Davis Hi-Y The Hi-Y club of Southmoreland builds its functions around one main purpose: to create, maintain and ex- tend throughout the school, home and community high standards of Christian character. The club is a Y.M.C.A. for high school boys. Mem- bers join the club seeking friendship, adventure, recreation and inspiration. It is the responsibility of the adult adviser to help members select goals for positive personal and group liv- ing. The members try to make their goals realistic, and at the same time, in harmony with the national Hi-Y purpose. Through their code of ethics J and constitution the club operates on a four-plank platform-clean speech, clean sportsmanship, clean scholar- ship, and clean living.
