Hampered hy many major injuries to key players, the Tigers limped home with one win and seven defeats. The Tigers, avenging last ye:ir's heating, mauled Franklin 12-0 for their only vietory of the campaign. Next year's team will contain twelve letter- men .since there were only six seniors on the squad. Four out of five managers will also be on duty next year. With a year's experi- ence hehind them, the future Tigers show definite promise of developing into one of the districts' hetter teams. ji 99,39 man, Charles Wigmore, Merle Supowitz, Andrew Foster. 3rd row-Charles Sciotto, Philip Bowers, Coach Krouse. Although not having the height of last year's District Six champs, the Bengals molded a fast, aggressive style of play. The Tigers also set a new rccord by winning four Southern Cambria champion- ships in a row. This year, after winning the cllampionship of the first half hy defeating llale in a playoff, the Bengals lost the second half. The lads of Coach Krousc, however, ended an exciting league season by heating Bcaverdalc by two points to win thc championship. lsl row lleff fo riglilfl-Joan Ackerman, Clarese Peler- son, Ann Haberlein, Harrier Denk, Phyllis Haluska, Mihi McDowell, Doris Link, Eileen McNamara, Dorolhy Meo, Joreen Cover. 2nd row-Dorella Werner, Pa?
