The majority of the faculty members teach these courses in the Academic curriculum. Each ot the individual academic de- partments offers a variety of choices to fill the requirements of S,H.S. The Science Department offers courses from Anatomy and Meteorology to Biology and Chemistry. The Math Department offers courses from Al- gebra and Geometry to Statistics and Calculus. ln the English Depart- ment one can study courses ranging from Drama to Logic to Shakespeare to each level of standard English. In the Language Department one can study German, Latin, French, and Spanish. The Social Studies Depart- ment offers courses on a sundry of topics such as Geography, Sociolo- gy, China, and U.S. History. Many students, though, do not real- ize that this academic curriculum provides a wide-ranged background needed for every day life and the ba- sis for becoming a well-rounded indi- vidual. The student wishing to contin- ue on to college must have the back- ground necessary to meet entrance requirements that these courses pro- vide. By indulging in the academics we are not only making our minds brighter but our futures as well. Joseph Daddio Business Dept. Alphonse D'Angelo Language Dept. Cynthia Davey Business Dept.
