W The Chronicle of the World War One era, such as the one pictured above, was merely a 75' by 9 classbook. It was published as a special Graduation Number by the Emblem. It contained no pictures at all but it did have a class will, class history, and a few other small features such as the valedictory speech. It was not yet a true independent yearbook with a separate staff but it was rather a feature issue of the school newspaper. It had not yet come to be called by its own title, The Chronicle. .
