FERRUCCI We, the class of 1961, wish to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for the fine work that Mrs. Ferrucci has done in Southing- ton High School. She started teaching in 1928, which makes her the senior member of our faculty, and ever since has done an outstanding job of educating her students in the field of science and math. Through the years she has also assisted in many extra-curricular activities, particularly musical productions, and this year was advisor to the present Junior class. SENIOR CLASS UFFICERS Dear Classmates, The time has now come for us to face the future of which we are an integral part. After twelve years of education, we must assume our position in society. We are the young adults of the world and it is our task to make the future a bright and prosperous one. Though it will be the greatest task which we shall have to face, it will be a challenge which, I feel, we are well prepared to meet. To serve as your class president for four years was an honor and a great experience. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your cooperation in our many class endeavors. It was you who made them worthwhile and successful. In closing I would like to say that life is a wonderful experience so before you do anything which might hurt it, stop and think for a moment.
