He could feel their problems and react to them in a mature, adult manner. 21

Principal Jimmy Williams in his fourth year at Southern Wayne not only fulfilled the basic requirements for the job of principal but also added a personal element in his dignity, sense of humor, and genuine desire to help the students and faculty in any way that he possibly could. The growth of the career of Mr. Jimmy Williams exemplifies strength. While Southern Wayne graduated its first class of four-year students, she watched a leader graduate to higher degrees of accomplishment. During the four-year history of Southern Wayne High School, Mr. Williams has grown from classroom teacher to assistant principal to principal. 20
