THE SADDLE CLUB 2 . H rl - S-if For many years, the Saddle Club has been promoting the love and appreciation of the horse. Tryouts for membership are held twice a year, and the ability is the main factor judged. Each year the club gives a trophy for the rider who has shown the greatest improvement during the year. This trophy is presented at the Southern Seminary Horse Show which is sponsored by the Saddle Club in the spring. THE HOP COMMITTEE f I A ,WJ i . The Hop Committee for the year 1963-1964 is composed of fourteen second-year students. They are chosen on the basis of poise, good grooming, and willingness to serve others. The Hop Committee plans and directs the social activities of the year. These include the four major dances: The Opening Dance, The Christmas Dance, the ltlidwinter Dance, and the Biay Dance.
