YWCA The aims of the Young VVomen's Christian Association are in agreement with the Seminary's idea that religion is a most important factor in moulding a girl's character. This national organization has had a chapter at the Sem since 1906, and each year since its beginning, has had IOOW, membership among the girls. Responsible for the direction of the Work of the Y VV C A, is its Cabinet. The duties of this group are many and varied. One of the great services perform- ed for the school by these girls is conducting the Thursday and Sunday night vespers. They organize and run such parties as the Halloween Party and the Old Girls Party for New Girls. They also direct and lead the student body in charitable work such as the Christmas stoclcings, Christmas Illazaar, the Thanks- giving baskets and numerous other projects. But most of all, they bring a richer and fuller lcnowledffe of God into the dail life of everv Seniinarv ffirl. s Y , , s Mrs. Robert Lee Durham . . ....
