Shirley Mears bequeaths box 53 to anyone who has a dust rag. Nlargaret, Mac McClennahan leaves her gracefullness in ballet to Ann Cotter. Lyn Nlobley, a 6 footer, leaves part of her height to that tall Bonnie McCraken. jackie Murray wills her athletic ability and many letters fall threeb to Lorette Burke. Diane Nostrand entrusts her presidency of the football club to Betty Owen, just in case she should ever have use of it. Betty Peck Mrs, Hopkins bequeaths a warm blanket to the unlucky girls who will live in room 28. Ann Pelland leaves to Rog, her little sister, the care of her big brother. l-larriet Powell bequeaths someone to take care of Francis Harry's worries. Althea l'ratt wills her ability to pass speech to her little sister Nancy Apple- man. Gloria l'reiser entrusts her Northern accent to Shirley Tillman. Last ill and Testament We the Seniors of Southern Seminary Q junior College make this our last will and testament. VVe give, devise, and bequeath our said property, real and personal, as herein follows: To our dear Alma Mater we leave our love and loyalty. To Mother Durham we leave our deepest affection. To Mr. and Mrs. Robey we leave our sincere wishes for the happiness and success of tuture years. To the faculty our appreciation for their endeavors to instill in our minds knowledge, wisdom and culture. Joanne Asyh ford entrusts her kindergarten angels to whoever is brave enough to tace them. Jackie llaumgarten leaves the Phi Gains to all those who are lucky enough to date them. Doris Enright leaves Nancy Pat lde her perfectly good appendix. Nadine Fairlamb bequeaths the second floor telephone booth and V. M. l. to Phyllis Chatterton and the W. 8: L. football team to Bobsie Munch. To her little sister Martha jane Fell entrusts her argyle knitting in hopes that she will eventually learn how to knit. Pat Grier leaves to Lou Slade her ability to ride a horse. Ann Harris bequealhs her love for Vanderbilt to VVardel Wray. Marion Harris and Arky VVells leave their midnight giggles, snacks, and rat hunts to the most venturesome senior-middles, Lillian Longarini and Ann Williams. Pat Scheuerman and .lean McGinley entrust the Photography and the yearbook in general to their little sisters, Dot VVhittlesey, and Pat Criado, to make sure they will have no spare time. Etsie Scott and Sue Smith will their fabulous weekends in Baltimore and Richmond to their little sisters Jane and Ann Haley. Mary Ann Smith bequeaths her athletic ability to her little sister Dion Dana. Teddy Smith leaves her snowbound weekends to Betty Lou Lundgren. n Fayne Spirvvak leaves her favorite, or rather used bed in the infirmary to Pat Kimball. Judy Stephens entrusts her ex engravings on the desk to other dreamers, and in leaving hopes that lbby can manage without her. Bobbie Stillman wills to her little sister, Suzie Hetzel, the job of finding a little sister as terific as she--and also the job of making all those cadets stand at attention. Barby Strite bequeaths her effervescent energy and beaming happiness IJ Toogie Hunley. Millie Swan leaves Monday afternoon dress parade to those fortunate enough to have a dollar. Brenda Terhune leaves her ability to resist food to her little sister, Jani-:e LeBlanc. A Helen Troy wills to Gene Dudley her excellent record of being on time, in hopes it will be an influence. Virginia Vogel entrusts the Deanls List to her little sister, Gerda Wtzesthoff. Edith Waggie Vtfagoner bequeaths her enability to find tall men to her little sister, Betsy Corbin. Joanne 'Wesler leaves the nightly Athenian Cheerleading meeting to next year's captain, may she have better luck with the 10:15 cigarette brigade. Shirley VVeyrick wills Ring Figure weekend and the 35200 kiss to Skippy Fenimore and Mary Burns. . . Anna .lean VVilson leaves her admiration for the Sigma Chi's to Sarah Lomax. Barbara VVilson hequeaths her ability to find short men. Room 34 B wishes to will a certain pink seat in the spare room of suite 34B to next year's occupants. To Mrs. Backus, our dear senior sponsor, we leave a tear-because we hate to leave her.
