Uma . Around the halls of our alma mater there is a certain calmness and tranquility which brings a special peace and joy to every Seminary girl. Uur own Mother Durham seems to he a personitication of our highest ideals of love, kindness, and spiritual goodnessg and so it is no wonder that we cling to her .hand for our spiritual guidance. The aims of the Young XVomen's Christian association are in accord with the Seminary's idea that the religious life is a most important factor i11 molding a girl's character. The Cahinet is the efficient group who is responsible for the direction of the Y. XV. C. A.'s activities. These girls perform great services for the school hy conducting the Tuesday and 'I'hursday night vespers and directing the student body in such charitable work as the Christmas stockings, Christmas Bazaar, and the Thanksgiving baskets.
