666 SQJJIZ Club The lure of rt lmrisk ride up 11 mountain trail and the nuzzle of a velvet nose is the attraction that draws many students to try out for the Saddle Club. All girls who ride :ire encouraged to compete for membership, but only those who have proven their riding ability are accepted. The purpose of this cluh is to improve the riding skill of its members, to increase the interest in riding throughout the school, and to represent Southern Seminary :it thc local horse shows and hunts. One of the projects that this club sponsors is thc Prince Charming contest in which at committee picks thc three most handsome men of pictures submitted lay students, to rcccivc recognition in the yearbook. Tlierefore this club is composed of Southern Seminary's expert swimmers, and these mermaicls are intent upon improving their skill in swimming.
