The many changes that take place not only in the classroom, the Student Union, or the library, but in the mood of the students - how we feel as JAGUARS. Each year we go through many growths and changes . . . new buildings . new dorms ... new ideas ... new faces. In keeping with the changing mood of the students the theme of the 1971 JAGUAR is AS WE GIVE A DAMN. This theme's purpose is to emphasize the new spirit that is finding its way onto the Southern University campus. ln memory of Dr. Felton G. Clark and those faculty members who died during the past year, we dedicate this issue. This dedication also goes to those persons who have devoted many years to the development and growth of our University.
