Marsland, 1. Miller. BIOLOGY CL UB The Biology Club is designed to develop interest in Biology and its related fields. This is done through reports, discus- sions, oratory, and experimen- tation. The members seek to keep alive the interest in an ever-expanding and growing field of scientific endeavors. THE HARRISONIAN CLUB Although their work is not social, the members of the Harrisonian Club do, never- theless, a sizable amount of social work. By disseminating information of mutual advan- tage, they encourage others to probe in the field of Sociology. The purpose of the club is to help the student acquire a more precise knowledge of society. 279

The purpose of the club is to give the students a broader insight of the engi- neering field. Through lec- tures and projects, the stu- dents are inspired to take an active part in organized activity. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CLUB This club was organized by Mr. Edward W. Claud and technology students on November 75, 1967. It was designed to, Iwith individu- al and group projects, field trips, and researchj give the student an opportunity to gain knowledge, skill, and ventilation. RECREATKDN CLUB The aims of the U. U. R. S. are to unite in one organiza- tion, all recreational majors and minors on our campus and to encourage and pro- mote adequate programs of undergraduate professional workers. The purpose of this profession is to administer recreation as a public trust, so as to multiply opportuni- ties for happiness regardless ofage, race, sex, or creed.
