The purpose of the club is to give the students a broader insight of the engi- neering field. Through lec- tures and projects, the stu- dents are inspired to take an active part in organized activity. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CLUB This club was organized by Mr. Edward W. Claud and technology students on November 75, 1967. SPEECH PATHOLOCY AND AUDIOLOCY CLUB The purpose of the Speech Pathology and Audiology Club are to encourage basic scientif- ic study ofthe processes of in- dividual human speech and hearing, promote investigation of speech and hearing disor- ders, and foster therapeutic procedures with such disor- dersg to stimulate exchange of information among persons thus engaged, and to dissemi- nate such information. The members seek to keep alive the interest in an ever-expanding and growing field of scientific endeavors. THE HARRISONIAN CLUB Although their work is not social, the members of the Harrisonian Club do, never- theless, a sizable amount of social work. By disseminating information of mutual advan- tage, they encourage others to probe in the field of Sociology. The purpose of the club is to help the student acquire a more precise knowledge of society. 279
