Black Stone Society The purpose ot the Blackstone society is to give the political science under- graduates an insight into the legal pro- tession ot law and its endeavors. The Executives Club The Executives were organized in the tall semester ot I964 with the purpose ot aiding its members in their develop- ment ot a business tuture. A member ot the Executives was assigned to the TVA Cooperative program last year which means that the organization cer- tainly lives up to its purpose. T. H. Harris Scholars Club The purpose ot this toundation is to grant scholarships to young people ot acute mind, pleasing personalities, good character, ambitious purpose and posi- tive qualities ot leadership, who have made a detinite decision on a career and demonstrated a mature mind by selecting a college or university which is most practical to attend to receive the required training. International Relations Club Council on Inter Relations and United Nations Attairs is the organization tor students interested in international at- tairs and who wish to translate concern into concrete action. It has more than 500 chapters in Universities and colleges in the United States. It is also attiliated with other organization councils. Guiclons Southern University Company G ot the National Society ot Guidons was ot- tically installed on this campus Novem- ber, I965, to work with all R.O.T.C. units to instill a teeling ot patriotic in- terest into the women student body and to provide the men ot the R.O.T.C. with enthusiastic support. Pershing Ri emen The Cadets ot Company A, 6th Regi- ment, Pershing Ritles maintain a crack drill team which may be seen pertorm- ing on numerous occasions both on and ott campus. The obiectives ot the organization are many. They include encouraging, per- serving and developing the highest ideas ot military protession, promoting Ameri- can citizenship through constructive community proiects and creating closer and more personal relationships between the general public and the military.
