Daniels Reporters R. Phillips S. Daniels Sponsor 1. M. Herson Zeta Phi Beta Sorority had its beginning at Howard University, January 16, 1920. As members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Charles Robert and Samuel Taylor spoke to a young lady, Arizona Cleavor, cencerning the establishment of a sister organization, and asked her if she would endeavor to establish such an organization at the university. The young lady willingly accepted the task and im- mediately began to work upon it. Thus, as a result, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority was founded as a sister organization to Phi Beta Sigma F raternity. -
