Vocational EducaHon Club The Vocational Edu- cation Club was orga- nized September 13, 1962. The club with a membership of 125 per- sons has been set up for the purpose of enhanc- ing the relationship be- tween persons of the .three divisions of voca- tional education, provid- ing social as well as edu- cational enlightenment, and stimulating incom- ing students in the field of vocational education. Southern University Recreational Society The aims of the Southern University Recreation Society are to unite in one organization all recreational majors and mi- nors on our campus; to en- courage and promote adequate programs of undergraduate pro- fessional training for recrea- tional workers; and to affiliate all majors with the American Recreation Society and the Na- tibnal Recreation Association. Baranco Pre-Medical Club was orga- nized in 1960 in honor of the late Dr. Raymond M. Baranco, a former Southern University physician. With approximately sixty Pre-Medical students, the ob- jective of the club is to pro- mote a greater interest in the medical sciences. It also unites the students and stimulates them both scholastically, and socially. Speech Pathology and Audiology Club The purpose of the Speech Pathology and Audiology Club is to encourage basic scientific study of the processes of individual human speech and hearing, promote investi- gation of speech and hearing disorders, and foster therapeu- tic procedures with such dis- orders; to stimulate exchange of information among persons thus engaged, and to dissemi- nate such information.
