The Psychology Club is composed of students in- terested in the field of Psychology. The functions of the group are to bring speakers on special sub- jects to the campus, and to provide an area of dis- cussion on current topics. The responsibilities of the Student SNEA program are to provide opportunities for personal and profes- sional growth, development of leadership skills, un- derstanding of the history, ethics, and programs at state and national levels, and participation in profes- sional activities at local, state, and national levels, especially integrating programs of local associations and student education association. Piericm Club Marketing Society The Marketing Society was founded here at South- ern University in 1964 by Marketing majors. It is com- posed of students interested in the field of iMarketing. Baranco Pre-Medical Club was orga- nized in 1960 in honor of the late Dr. Raymond M. Baranco, a former Southern University physician. With approximately sixty Pre-Medical students, the ob- jective of the club is to pro- mote a greater interest in the medical sciences. It also unites the students and stimulates them both scholastically, and socially. Speech Pathology and Audiology Club The purpose of the Speech Pathology and Audiology Club is to encourage basic scientific study of the processes of individual human speech and hearing, promote investi- gation of speech and hearing disorders, and foster therapeu- tic procedures with such dis- orders; to stimulate exchange of information among persons thus engaged, and to dissemi- nate such information.
