YWCA The purpose of the YWCA is to build' a fellowship of women and girls devoted to the task of realizing those. ideals of personal .and social living to which we are committed as Christians. In this endeavor we seek to understand Jesus, to share his love for all people, and to grow in knowledge and love of God. The Usher Corps aims toward audience organiza- tion and safety; hence, its vi- tality to the University com- munity is incessantly felt.

Jones Guiding young men under the Scout Oath and Law on a college campus with leadership and service as its cardinal principles, Alpha Phi Omega, National Fraternity, was founded December 16, 1925, at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, by F rank Horton. Since that time it has grown nationally with more than 325 chapters and is still growing. Kappa Lambda Chapter was established here at South- ern University on December 16, 1952, and has led in service to the campus, community, and nation thereafter. Il2
