YWCA The purpose of the YWCA is to build' a fellowship of women and girls devoted to the task of realizing those. ideals of personal .and social living to which we are committed as Christians. In this endeavor we seek to understand Jesus, to share his love for all people, and to grow in knowledge and love of God. Sunday School The Southern University Sunday School is, as the name suggests7 a religious training organization in which the main institu- tional activities are held on Sunday. The Sunday School meets each Sunday mom- ing at 9:15, at which time students, under both fac- ulty and student leadership, study the relevance of Christianity to the individ- ual and group problems of students.
