It is composed of students who feel called to the mission field or have a concern for the foreign work of the church. Its purpose is to foster a deep interest in giving to others in need. Among its various activities andprojects is that of having week- ly prayer for the missionaries and for the spiritual welfare of our school. Having two concerts in December, the choir began its work early this year and was kept busy until the end of school. As students and faculty passed by during practice sessions, they were convinced that a gymnasium had been added because of the warm-up exercises used by the new choir director. Under the able direction of Mr. John Bowman and the accompaniment of Miss Ruth Surbrook, the choir has been a blessing, not only to those who listened but also to the members themselves. Although the numerous rehearsals were strenuous and time-consuming, every member of the choir was rewarded for his efforts by the wonderful Christian fellowship and the privilege of be- longing to a choir of which he could truly be proud. 75
