These crises have to do not only with international politics, but also with religion. It is important that you, the Christian youth of today, and, if Jesus tarries, the church leaders and homemakers of tomorrow, be not swept into this dangerous whirlwind and carried awayfrom the sacred landmarks of holiness and piety in heart and life. My desire for and exhortation to you finds expression in St. Paul's letter to Timothy: This charge I commit unto thee. . . that thou. . . mightest war a good warfare, holding faith, and a good conscience, which some have put away concerning faith have made shipwreck. During the years from 1948-1960, the col- lege pastor served Southern Pilgrim College faithfully. He was a patient counselor and sympathetic friend to each student. Dedicated to the school, he became a vital part of it. His faith in the school inspired and challenged the students. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for twelve years. It is with deep admiration and affection thatwe, the students of 1961-62, dedicate the PINE BURR to Rev. Wray J.
