Rose If the war had its unknown heroes who served in obscure ways that others might receive decorations and honors, so a college too has its unsung heroes. Often the hero has an unpleasant l h ' hero because he tackles it with valor and might In tlns sense we think of our task to cog ers a . board members as Ieal heroes. They have hard work to do, work that brings more criticism than glory. But they do it well, and they persist till the task is linrshed. They have earned on with t e work which the founders began and in much the same spirit of consecration. They have stood d h ll e throu h ever storm giving their time their money their inlluence without behin t e co eg g y , , , stint. If there is little reward for them on earth, they are none the less deservingg thev evoke our gratitude and inspire us by their example. In appreciation of them we publish this book, saving to them, Every student and every instructor appreciates you. We salute you one and all, our unsung heroes of Bethany-Peniel College. fiiiliie Vu Q1 :fjf?ew..- X I we 4 JH Ei' ii' J' .
