The Southwestern Law journal is a quarterly legal periodical published by the School of Law since 1947. The Journal is devoted to authoritative analyses of important topics of the law, and reaches judges, law schools, and attorneys throughout the United States and abroad. Each issue of the Journal contains articles, comments, notes, and recent decisions embracing significant phases of local, national, and international law. I The operation and management of the Journal is vested in a Board of Editors composed of senior students. Second year students selected on the basis of scholarship may become candidates for editorial positions. The Board is chosen from the candidates who exhibit high capacities for legal research and writing. It has as its purpose to undertake various projects for the benefit of law students and the School. The Barristers was founded in 1947.
