THE STUDENT BAR ASSOCIATION The Student Bar Association consists of officers and representatives elected by the student body, with meetings open to any member of the law school. The Student Bar acts as a liaison in coordinating the interests of the students and the ad- ministration. In addition, the Student Bar, through various committees, conducts a forum for public and professional speak- ers, sponsors two major social functions a year, maintains an active program for foreign students, and has sponsored publication of this yearbook. The Southern Methodist Student Bar Association is a member of the American Law Student Association which is an affiliate of the American Bar Association.
